About

Why Crypto Scam Watchdog exists and who writes it.

What this site is

Crypto Scam Watchdog covers one thing: scams and phishing, self-custody failures, smart contract risk, tax and compliance errors. Everything published here stays inside that scope. If a topic is interesting but outside it, it does not get published, because there are better sites for it.

How crypto money actually gets stolen

Who writes it

Every article on this site is written by Priya Raman. Takes apart crypto losses, her own included, so other people do not repeat them.

Readers are assumed to be people who already hold funds and are worried about losing them.

How articles are written

Claims that can be checked are checked. Where a number matters, the article says where it came from and when it was measured. Where something is uncertain, the article says so instead of rounding the uncertainty away. Costs, risks and inconvenient details are included, because leaving them out is how crypto writing usually goes wrong.

What this site does not do

No price predictions. No investment advice. No paid placements dressed up as reviews. Nothing here should be read as a recommendation to buy or sell anything. It is written to explain how things work so you can make your own decision.
